Name: Lucian Elliot Livingston.
Nickname(s): His friends would call him Ian, if he had any. Most people have their choice of nicknames for him ranging from Psycho to Blade due to his rather well-known past history. He actually finds the names people make up for him rather flattering and does not mind it one bit when others refer to him by such names.
Age/Birthday: 20-years-old and his birthday falls on August 23rd
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Unknown. Since no one has ever approached him and he has never shown interest in anyone he is not entirely sure who he is attracted to. He would not necessarily label himself as asexual because he definitely has a sexual drive toward others but never acts on it. When he does find a person attractive he tends to visualize killing them which is also very problematic when it comes to forming relationships. If he did have to put a name on it he would probably say he’s sapiosexual because in order for him to feel compelled to go after someone they have to be intelligent and prove to be worth pursuing.
School and Class: Lucian is a freshman at Metric High
Reason for Enrolling: Although Lucian is clearly troubled he is an extremely talented artist. He often paints beautifully tragic depictions of suffering individuals being bound, suffocated, etc. The portraits are almost too eerily realistic to the point where staring at one too long just makes the view feel violated.
Health Issues: He is in perfect physical health thought his mental health is extremely lacking. Over the years Lucian has developed quite the God complex and sees himself in an elevated manner. He believes it is his choice who lives and who dies and to be chosen to die is a blessing. Ian has displayed multiple mental health problems over the years ranging from blackouts to drastic mood swings making it difficult for therapists to conclude exactly what mental disorder he has. There are multiple medical terms which have been added and crossed out of his case file consisting, but limited to: bipolar I disorder, schizophrenia, narcissistic personality disorder, PTSD, substance use disorder. Of course these are only speculations because his symptoms never seem to fit one condition.
They only thing the doctors could seem to agree on is Lucian has a rather severe case of anti-social personality disorder. Unfortunately the name came be rather misleading because it does not mean his in antisocial by any means, in fact, anti-social personality disorder is what many sociopaths and psychopaths are diagnosed with. It consists of a lack of remorse, failure to conform to social norms, and a complete disregard for the safety of others. His mother makes damn sure his records are kept locked up tight so the information can’t be leaked to any untrusting folk.
Job: He used to work at the local diner as a chef but after an incident in back on day involving a knife and a co-worker losing a finger he was fired from that job. His mother wanted him to have some sort of career, so she pulled some strings and found him a job working at the local graveyard. He helps maintain he grounds and occasionally helps with the digging of graves. Unfortunately this doesn’t really help his creepy-factor with the kids at school. Lucian loves his job and often uses it as a means to dispose of some rather suspect items.
Reputation: Lucian is known to be a loner but not because he chooses to be. People usually activity choose to avoid him because they fear him. There has been quite a few rumors going around about him ranging from him keeping a fridge full of human blood to him being a murderer. Of course they are all mainly rumors…at least until they can be proven. He does not mind relying on himself for company but does take pride in his ability to scare his fellow classmates.
He has a big mouth so even if people choose to stay away from him he will seek out people to talk to and, if he can’t find anyone, he is just as content talking to himself. Lucian is a very colorful character and it takes a lot of balls for someone to even think about considering them his friend. The only people who actually want to hang out with him come from the goth variety and only because they think he is some sort of vampire which he finds insanely ridiculous but put on a show for them regardless because he likes the attention. To put it bluntly, Lucian is known throughout campus as the school psychopath.
Friend(s):
Clay Carpet: The only one person in his life who he would even consider close to him is his accomplice Clay Carpet (who he lovingly enjoys calling CC). Clay is the only person who knows all Lucian’s dirty little secrets and accepts him for who he is because Clay has secrets of his own that he shared with Lucian. After a rather interesting meeting the two joined forces together which could only mean one thing: utter chaos. Together they make a deadly pair. Even though Lucian would say the boy is his best friend, he also sees him as a pawn. There is really no question as to who the leader in their friendship is though it does not mean he treats Clay any different.
Enemies/Rivals: Lucian has many enemies, far too many to put down into writing. However, if a person is smart they would not make enemies with him because the people he hates have a bad habit of disappearing and never being heard from again.
Relationship Status: Single – giving his reputation it will probably stay that way for a long time.
Height/Body Type: Lucian stands at 5’9”, a perfectly average height for a male his age. He does not mind not being the tallest especially because he feels his appearance is intimidating enough as it is. Besides, being of average height allows him to blend in easily to crowds without being easily noticed. As far as his body composition goes, by looking at him he does not look particularly strong. He has a fair about of body mass and muscle though nothing overly impressive. On average he is not very strong but when he has a psychotic episode or has a victim in front of him his strength comes as a surprise. He’s incredibly vicious in this state of mind and could take down an opponent bigger than himself.
He has a quite unwelcoming aura about him. Even when he smiles it just seems…off. There is always a sly expression on his face like he is up to something. Lucian always seems to have some sort of bruise or scrape on him whether self-inflicted or done by someone else.
Hair color: Brown – kept rather short and always slicked back with gel. Occasionally if he is not feeling like it he will leave it down but, if he does, he finds it extremely bothersome.
Eye color: Blue/green – The color really depends on the lighting he’s in. His eyes are typically hooded by his strong brow giving his eyes a very shady appearance. When he is pissed off he is extremely expressive with his eyes and they can be extremely intimidating.
Clothing style: Most of Lucian’s closet consists of black apparel, colors really aren’t his things. If he does wear a color other than black it is usually a muted tone like brown or white. He is almost always seen in one of his many leather jackets since, no matter how hot it is outside, he is constantly cold due to poor blood circulation. Even though he typically has a rather casual look he does enjoy dressing up from time to time and donning a tie or dress shirt.

Hobbies: Lucian does not really have many hobbies. He does not really believe he has time to devote to hobbies given how busy his keeps himself with…other affairs. Covering his tracks is something he does find enjoyable because he does love a good mystery. Painting is probably the only thing he would really consider a true hobby. He spends hours slaving over his work to make sure it can capture the exact event which inspired it. Each piece of work has something special added to it contributed by both himself and the muse behind the artwork.
Family
Father – Ross Livingston – Orthodontist – Lucian refuses to address Ross as dad anymore and usually just refers to him by his first name. The two were never extremely close but when Ross made the decision to separate Lucian from his younger siblings he lost any respect he had for the man. Ross sees his son as some sort of wild animal which is not far from the truth. He wants to protect his younger children from the influence of Lucian and hopes by distancing them from him it will help them grow up in a more stable environment. Deep down he loves his son but that does not stop him from being afraid of him. Since he still cares about his wife he never asked for a divorce so they maintain their marriage from afar.
Mother – Jordan Livingston – FBI Agent – His mother is the only one who stuck around through Lucian’s chaotic acts. She keeps a watch out for him at all times and is fiercely protective of her boy. Unknown to many, her job allows her to have his recorded swept clean or locked away which she takes advantage of. Although Jordan knows her son is dangerous, she believes there is still good in him. He frightens her at times but mostly Lucian tries to be on his best behavior around her. It was her job which helped him learn how to cover his tracks and hack into systems. She was a bit bitter at first when Ross said he wanted to keep Jaydin and Cleo away from Lucian but finally agreed to it. Jordan is allowed to have the kids over every other weekend and usually Lucian makes an attempt to see his younger siblings.
Older brother – Haiden Livingston – Deceased – Two years his senior, the two boys got along well enough but were never super close. Lucian was not very shaken by his brother’s death and has no remorse for how it happened. Haiden was a golden boy, star of the baseball team with a good head on his shoulders. Everyone mourned his death…everyone but Lucian.
Younger brother – Jaydin Livingston – Middle Schooler – Jaydin thinks his older brother is pretty cool and tries to act like a little badass in front of him. He would never admit he is scared of Lucian which is why he tries to stay on his brother’s good side. The younger boy plucks up his courage when they have their visits but is happy when they are finally over.
Younger sister – Cleo Livingston – First Grader – Cleo is the only person in the family who is not at least slightly terrified of Lucian. She is seven years old and the sweetest little sister a boy could ask for. Even at her young age she is starting to show eerie similarities with Lucian which scares her parents and is why they enrolled her into therapy as a precaution. Though she has a very cheery disposition and is always smiling she also does some rather disturbing things. Her mother once caught her singing a happy tune with tearing the wings off of a butterfly. Cleo is the only one who is able to calm Lucian down when he is having an episode without getting hurt in the process. All she has to do is crawl into his lap and press her hands to his face, muttering quietly to him until he snaps out of it.
Backstory: Lucian Livingston was never a normal boy, there was always something off about him, even when he was only a baby. He never cried as a baby which was odd given how much his older brother cried when he was a baby. Jordan and Ross did not dwell on it too much because they were happy for a quiet child. The Livingston’s were always very active, very busy people which meant they were constantly dragging their children around to events and various vacations. Oddly enough his mother was the one who was gone most of the time. Since she had a very serious position with the FBI there were times where she would be gone for weeks at a time working on a case. These days Lucian usually spent in the company of his brother and father and later another brother once he turned five.
His early life was fairly normal, except for the fact he had a nasty habit of pulling the heads off his brothers’ toys and laughing about it. It always entertained him seeing them cry and run off to tell dad. Since it brought him so much joy, he continued the trend into elementary school where he turned out to be quite the bully. He never felt guilty about teasing the other kids either and owned up to everything he did. There were multiple times where his parents had to be called in to talk to the principal after a few rather nasty instances, one in which a girl had to go get stitches due to an accident with a pencil. Even with his mother being part of the FBI she failed to read the signs her little boy showed, blissfully unaware Lucian would grow up to be just like the kind of criminals she hunted.
When he was ten years old is family took a camping trip into the woods. Jordan and Ross were both rather adventurous people and took yearly camping trips every summer with their kids, no matter how old they were. With the two older boys knowing their campsite now like the back of their hand, Jordan agreed to let the two boys go off by themselves as long as they stayed within earshot. Being boys, they journeyed much farther than they should have and found a secluded area with a rather inviting pool of water. They played around for a little bit before his brother Haiden wandered into some deep waters and began to struggle. He pled for Lucian’s help but the boy could only stand and watch and not with fear but with excitement. The panic in his brother’s voice and the fear in his eyes was just so alluring. Lucian stood there and watches as his brother drowned right before his eyes. He then returned to his parents and explained he lost Haiden in the woods.
It took police three days of searching to find Haiden’s body in the water. The family was distraught, all except for Lucian, the boy didn’t even shed a tear. He felt no remorse for what he had done nor did he regret not saving his older brother. The instance had ignited a flame within the boy, one that he longed to explore.
A few weeks later beloved pets of the neighborhood began to disappear. Missing dog posters filled the light posts of every street. No one understood what was going on or why there were so many disappearances…none except for Lucian. After the thrill of seeing his older brother die, he began to experiment so he could feel that shot of adrenaline again. Unfortunately the pets of the neighborhood became his new victims. He buried the remained beneath the floor of the shed in his backyard but his mother soon grew suspicious. After encountering a rather foul smell while looking for her gardening shears she discovered a mutilated Pomeranian.
With her work in the FBI she knew animal mutilation was one of the warning signs of a future psychopath and had her son put into therapy though she kept the dead dogs a secret even to her husband. Lucian was put on a regimen of pills which he was extremely hesitant to take. They numbed him, made him feel inhuman, but most of all they took away that thrill he had when he encountered blood.
Luckily the spotlight was taken off him for awhile once he turned twelve and his sister Cleo was born. He took that as an opportunity to start reading about these feelings he had. It led him to various sights about psychopaths who started out just as he had. Is that really what he was? Either way the only thing he knew was the medication had to go if he ever wanted to feel anything again. They didn’t fix him, they just numbed him.
At fifteen he had his first mental breakdown. It wasn’t even a big deal, but Lucian barely remembers what happened. They were all around the dinner table having a nice family meal then words were said and the next thing he knew Lucian was face down on the carpet being restrained by his father. The dining room was a mess, filled with broken plates and food scattered all around while Lucian breathed hard on the floor. Ross sat up to allow his son to sit up but that’s when Lucian lunged at his throat. He heard his mother cry out but not because he was intent on killing his father but because three-year-old Cleo began to waddle over to save the day. The moment she stepped between Lucian and his father it was as if a switch was flipped off in the psychotic boy. The little girl crawled into his lap and within a matter of minutes Lucian calmed down.
This instance frightened Ross, so much so he believed Lucian could no longer be trusted around his younger siblings. Jordan and Ross fought over it idea for weeks until they finally came to a decision. Ross moved out with Jaydin and Cleo while Jordan remained with Lucian. They were not divorcing, just maintaining their family from a distance.
After that things returned to normal for awhile, that was until they decided to get together for a family dinner. Lucian began to loathe his father for splitting up their family, he knew the man blamed him for Haiden’s death or at last that’s what his mind told him. Halfway through the dinner Lucian made his move. Again, he cannot recall the specifics of the event. He remembers cutting into the flesh of his father’s face with a knife and accidently slicing his little brother’s hand when he attempted to pull him away. The only one who could reach out to him was Cleo who refused to let go of his hand until the paramedics came to take away Ross and Jaydin and the police car arrived to take Lucian.
They set Lucian up in the psych ward which strangely he did not mind. In fact, it kind of felt like home. There were so many crazed people there with minds just as warped as his own. He could understand these people and had a way with them which made it so easy to manipulate them. Within a week of staying there he was forced into solitary for starting a riot. They injected him with tranquilizers at that point because he refused to swallow the pills they gave him. The only reason he decided to play nice was to get back into the general population where he could interact with the others.
After being locked up for a good five months he encountered a newbie, fresh out of solitary. Clay Carpet was his name and the rumors made Lucian believe he would be a perfect ally. He approached the man and, although Clay ignored him for the most part, he refused to give up. He knew all these psychos really needed was someone to trust, someone to help them feel like they weren’t so alone. After hearing about Clay’s asshole older brother Lucian did all in his power to become the exact opposite to charm Clay with the delusion he could be trusted. He actually ended up opening up to the other boy and decided once they got out they could make a pretty killer team.
Once Lucian was finally released back into civilization, he unfortunately still had his high school degree to finish. Despite his fragile condition his mother suggested he go back to Metric and finish what he started as long as he stayed on his medication. Surprisingly he agreed to go back but with much different motives in mind. With Clay out of the psych ward as well Lucian put his plot into action. The two have been causing all sorts of chaos around Salem going around completely unsuspected.
