At his statement, Cleo nodded, "Yeah, same here I guess. Like an amazing wedding sounds really perfect to have, but it's really hard for me to imagine. I think I'd rather plan weddings than have one myself... well, we're still young too so, maybe after meeting that one person we'd be singing a different tune." she shrugged slightly, her smile faint on her lips. She couldn't help but think about Fletch, could she see herself ever marrying him, really, seriously? It was much too doubtful and troubling to consider, but it was easily brushed off as she let her imagination run wild in coming up with a decent origin story to their 'relationship'.
As tempting as it was to take control of their story and make it more like how she first met Fletcher, Cliff had a good point. They definitely wouldn't garner much sympathy or praise pretending to be the product of an impulsive elopement! "Okay so, childhood friends first - and then through high school we sort of realized that we had feelings for each other, it works!" Cleo decided, taking a few steps toward the automatic sliding doors before looking back at him in mid-stretch, giggling at how his stomach was bared - noticing hairs that trailed down from his belly button and... going much further. She turned forward to their destination, feeling a fluttering weirdness in her stomach. Ignoring this as best as she could, Cleo exhaled. "Come on slowpoke! No time to waste," she called, marching over to him and grabbing his hand - leading them both inside without a hesitant thought as she brought them before the cheap jewelry and gifts. She wasn't about to let go, though it was so strange to her. In a way this was their first try at seeming like an actual couple and she had to play the part!
