LeAnn's outfit || Isabelle's outfit
Intro for mac
It had been a while since the two of them had just had a day out for themselves, when LeAnn was neither working or doing school work, and when Isabelle didn't have any homework to do over the weekend, so they took the opportunity to spend the day with one another. That morning, though money was still tight, LeAnn took Isabelle out for breakfast, wanting to just do something for her daughter since the move. Lately they had been running around, trying to get the apartment to become their little abode instead of just a little hovel that they lived in. Last week LeAnn had surprised Isabelle with a new comforter, some posters that she could put on her wall, and a new stuffed animal to put on her bear. Something to just... Make her happier.
Was it the best choice to do right now, when she didn't even know how she was going to pay for the apartment every month? Absolutely not. But LeAnn knew that the move was hard on Isabelle, and she just wanted to see her little girl happy. She deserved it.
It was early afternoon that Saturday, where the sun was beaming down on their heads, warming the area on the clear day. The mother-daughter duo walked hand in hand with one another when Isabelle suddenly turned and looked with an excited expression on her face. She gasped, and tugged on LeAnn's shirt. "Mommy, look!" To their left across the street was a colorful play set settled in the middle of the part, where women with strollers, men in jogging apparel, and teenagers mingled about. "Come we go? Please!" The seven year old looked up at her mother, her green eyes big, shimmering with excitement.
Now how could she say not to that?
Grinning, LeAnn nodded her head, which made Isabelle jump up and down, chanting yes. They walked across the street and entered the park, where the two looked around. Huh. They had been here for the better part of two weeks now and LeAnn hadn't known about this place. Well... Maybe they could frequent here when not busy, so that Isabelle could play, get some of that energy out. The best part was that it was free.
The play set area wasn't entirely too crowded; a few parents with their kids, ranging from toddlers to older kids. most of them screaming, having a good time. "Okay," LeAnn said, looking down at Isabelle. "Go have fun." With the nod of approval, Isabelle grinned and darted off to the play set, hopping on the little platform that led her to a rope climbing section so that she could get to the main part. Smiling herself, LeAnn took a breath, and sat down on an empty bench where she watched her daughter user her thin arms to pull herself up.
