Elle always loved to go shopping! She was walking beside her best friend, Tina Kalivas, listening to the pop song playing over the radio. Her gold-tinted sunglasses rested atop her head, framed by her wild black curls. She wore a simple romper for her attire, a white one highlighted with gold. She loved the way this romper highlighted her skin! She her nails done, too – gold to match – and a few bags in her hands. She liked it when they had Jett and Victor to carry their things, but sometimes it was so much better to just talk to Tina alone! Since they barely talked to Rumer anymore, Elle hadn’t really thought about inviting her along.
They had spent the afternoon shopping, going in and out of stores. Elle had a few new outfits in her arsenal now. She had been catching up on hot gossip with Tina, her interest peeked at the revelations on who was dating who and who broke up and all that. She laughed at the reminder of one of the girls who had been chasing Jett when they were ‘off’, no longer threatened by that because, why would she be? She was his girlfriend now, and Jett was never anything but faithful!
As they rounded a corner on the third floor, Elle paused. ”Oh my Gosh, Tina! We haven’t gone into a shoe store today!” She said, glancing across the aisle towards a store advertising some cute wedges. ”Should we, like, go in there?”
