Chad knew of Felicity signing at the event one town over and knew he had to drag his suitemates to go to the event. Unfortunately, since Arthur moved out, his new suitemate had yet to even introduce himself to Chad. Ace was out for the night with the girls, so that left Chad to drag an unsuspecting Todd with him. Todd hadn’t seemed keen on going, but the guy was so nice that he just kind of went along with it. Chad appreciated that, it made it way less of a pain to get him anywhere.
At the event, Chad sought Felicity out before her performance to say hello. He introduced her to Todd, who was shy about it, but polite. Almost too polite, Chad thought. The event was a success overall: Chad bumped into several people he knew from school, many of whom had come down here just for Felicity. She was gorgeous and a good singer, who could blame them for wanting to see her perform? Chad treated Todd to dinner, as the clouds began to grow darker overhead. Night fell, and storms were predicted for the evening. Most people left on the early buses, but Chad wanted to linger by the booths and play some games. Todd went along with him, mostly looking at his phone, but Amy and Max held no sympathy for him. They thought it was good Chad dragged him out. Ace was the only one who could relate to him feeling somewhat trapped.
He exhaled, as the first drops of rain began to hit his cheek. ”Aw, really? It’s raining?” Chad glanced to the sky, pouting. ”Guess we gotta catch the bus.”
It was the last bus anyway, Todd wanted to quip, but restrained himself. There was a light sprinkle falling by the time they climbed onto the bus, and Todd slid into an empty seat. The good thing about the bus being so barren was that he had his choice of seat. Chad helped himself to the seat behind him and was talking loudly to the one other person on the bus.–
Shyanne had come to the event for an assignment. She had to find three performances to document and write reviews of. This was number three for her. Shyanne sat at one of the benches for the majority of the show, recognizing Fliss as one of the college popular girls. She was gorgeous and talented, and the venue was packed with people. Shyanne noted both things in her review, by the end of the night, her notebook’s page was completely full of notes.
After the show concluded Shyanne spent the latter portion while most left interviewing people. The sun went down and it wasn’t until she felt rain droplets falling down her head that she got moving. She scurried to the bus, spotting how barren it was. She ascended the stairs and flipped her hair, immediately seeing Chad. ”Chad?! You’re here?”
”Shy!” Chad said brightly, waving her over. Shyanne took the seat beside Chad, folding her skirt under her legs. ”What’s up?”
”Oh, I just finished up some notes for an assignment! You should have seen me earlier, I would have given you an interview,” She said, her tone slightly flirty. Todd zoned the conversation out and tried to focus on the window – outside of which, the rain was beginning to pick up.
