Toni's outfit || Intro for pierce
He told her that he was taking her somewhere, somewhere off campus where they'd still be secluded and away from the prying eyes of other people. At first Toni had been confused. Huh? But in the end she agreed to the notion without much hesitation, only asking him where they were going and always pouting when Clay would tell her that it was a secret and that she'd find out when they got there together. And today was the day; it had come after weeks of preparing this little adventure together--or Clay preparing it--and the other night Clay had sent her a list of things of what she needed to bring: her swim suit, sun screen, a towel. Under the clothes she wore that looked to be swallowing her she wore her bathing suit, a pair of shorts to go along with it folded in the bag she brought that had been thrown in the trunk of the car before she left her apartment. Along with that she had a blanket and a cooler with foods in there, expecting them to be out for the majority of the day and figuring that the two of them could go for a few homemade sandwiches instead of spending money where ever they were going.
She was excited. As Toni pulled the car down the road a certain giddiness over came her, making her grin widely, even as she still wondered where it was that Clay was going to take her. She hoped that her sandwiches and waters would be appropriate food, or that they would be able eat in general. What if he had other ideas? She didn't know, but she thought it would be better to keep themselves prepared.
The GPS on the dash told her to turn left, and then to make another left, turning Toni into a developing neighborhood that was called... Seashell cove. That made her smile. Beautiful name. She wondered if anybody had any pools here, or if the developers liked the ocean enough to name a neighborhood around that aspect of nature. Now, all that was left to do was figure out which house Clay had told her to meet him at. As her arms turned the wheel to guide the car around, she learned forwards in her seat, pressing her chest against the steering wheel to get a better look. Her heart was pounding, but instead of nervousness, she was excited. She and Clay had only been able to meet up with each other one other time since the first day of the new semester; Toni was just too busy getting ready to graduate, and she hadn't been able to make their usual meetings up on the roof of the sports building. And she missed him. A lot. She looked at Tuxedo often and even brought him with her, the little t-rex sitting on the dash next to the GPS. It was comforting, always reminding her of Clay.
It was still a wonder to her to be going somewhere off campus with him; they had been confined there for so long, and now that they were... Toni didn't know what to think about it. But it didn't worry her. She trusted Clay, much ore than anyone else. And speaking of him, when he finally appeared in her line of vision standing in front of a house with a large, red For Sale sign in the middle of the yard, Toni pulled the car into the drive and rolled the window down. There he was, in the flesh. She grinned again. "Clay!" She waved an arm out to him. "This isn't your surprise, is it? You didn't buy me a house, right?" She joked, laughing lightly to herself as she unlocked the doors of the car.
