Pokemon AU
This is a Pokemon AU setting post. Anyone is welcome to join in! All that I ask is that you reply to this thread with your characters and their rank so they can be added to this list before you post trainer cards and minibios.
Setting:
This roleplay will take place in Hoenn region. Though we’re using the skeleton from Hoenn for appearances sakes, all of the gyms, positions, and things like that will be available to anyone! It’s first come first serve when it comes to Gym leaders and their Pokemon tames, same with the elite four. Pokemon gym leaders must have a type their Pokemon all share like they do in the games.
Some notes:
- Team Rocket’s the main antagonist for our universe, and their hideout is located off the coast of Lilycove City, in the hideout that’s usually team Manga or Aqua’s in Hoenn.
- Characters may have Pokemon from any generation, as we're not being too technical, and just using Hoenn region as a base. Starter Pokemon can be any starter Pokemon, but each trio getting new Pokemon will be given the options of fire, water, or grass type (ex: no two trainers starting at the same time can both have a grass type starter). But it is possible for trainers who started at different times to both have the same type of starter.
Rules
- Legendary Pokemon: One legendary Pokemon per trainer; Gym leaders may not have legendary Pokemon (or at least they may not have use them in battles). Only one of each legendary is allowed (so we can’t have like 50 Mews). Be reasonable and sparing with using legendary Pokemon.
- Shiny Pokemon are allowed but please use them sparingly and only have one per character.
- Keep reasonable with character’s skill ranks and their positions. Don’t make the Rustboro gym leader impossibly strong. Don’t make a traveling trainer know all the secrets about every gym.
- First come first serve when it comes to Gym leader types. No repeats. Elite Four members can have the same type as a Gym leader but it's preferred to spice it up. Only one type of trainer per Elite four members, too.
- Please don't take all of the Gyms or Elite four positions so that anyone not online at the moment can jump in if they want to. If after some time positions are still open have at it, but leave a few positions open for other people if they want them. In the world of Pokemon there's so much people can be -- you don't have to make everyone one specific type of person!
- You can wait to add some of the excess info until after (like where they currently are and how many badges a character has), but please reserve a spot for your character (especially if they are a gym leader) by commenting on here before posting a trainer card/minibio.
