Like most days, it was a perfect day to spend at the park. Everyone was doing their thing, getting at all kinds of activities under the sunshine and Perla was no different. She showed some of the younger skaters a thing or two, not even trying to show off or anything – she just felt that damn good today! It was probably because she'd been lucky enough to find a ten dollar bill just randomly on the street today, which was something that she totally did not expect! It was just burning a hole in her pocket now, as she rolled away from the skate park portion of the public park. She'd worked up an appetite, after all. So, what could be better than a nice, free bag of chips to sate her hunger till later? Probably a personal pizza... Perla would let her stomach decide on that one. There was no rush, not a care! Her dad and his friend had watch over the shop, gave her the day off to chill and catch up on her grindage – which she still wasn't finished doing. That ten was ready to turn in to change, baby.
On her way she passed through the playground, she loved sneaking in a couple tricks on those rubbery hills – so she intended to give it a try, since she was nearby and all. Plus, all the children were monopolizing the jungle gym or swings for the most part, so it was all clear! The way it felt when she stuck her landings was sick, that bounce was something she practically lived for. But then she saw the aggravated young guy among the children. Well he was probably older than her, but he really... didn't know what he was doing, at all. It was hard to say which kid he was trying to get – or even how many, but it was plain to see that he really needed some assistance. Like now.
Perla rolled up on her board, so humored by what was going on but also, she sympathized with the guy. Babysitting wasn't for everyone, no way. Once she got close enough, she popped her board in to her grasp and stepped up beside him. “Hey you, which ones are yours?” she asked right off the bat, there were about seven kids there – all of them balls of energy, running around and laughing. They all seemed to ignore the dude in his attempts to get them all together. “I bet you ten dollars I can get them all to go to you." Perla propositioned, looking toward the playing children. "I'm a pro at the babysitting gig and I know exactly how to help. You could consider me a - childcare professional,” she smirked, looking at him with a genuine lift to her brows, “want my help or not? Going once, going twice...”
