||Daniel's Apparel||
Bass thumping, lights flashing, crowd jumping.. The smell of sweat and booze hung in the air like a thick cloud. All of this was a comfort to Daniel as he held half his headphones up to his ear. He was always comfortable here. The music was soothing, transported him away from everything else. Just the beat, bass, and e-harmonics. It also helped the crowds loved him every night. They just got so excited when he came out to get everything started.
Sliding a few keys up and down, it was interesting to watch the crowd anticipate the drop. Everyone always got this stance about them, legs squared as if to brace themselves from an impending earthquake or something. He enjoyed that. There were some things he enjoyed about living beings, even if they never did quite understand his infatuation for the supernatural.
Daniel licked his lips as the drop came and a cheer echoed through the club, the dancers going bat-shit crazy. This was perfect.. Oh damn, he had nearly forgotten to put the clip board up.. Holding the headphones to his head by squishing them between his ear and shoulder, he fished for the damned thing and set it down on a place that could be easily reached by both him and the patrons of the club.
Next he had to find a pen or pencil people could use so he didn't forget their requests. There was one just out of reach for him and he extended his hand to grab it, trying to keep some sort of control on the music. The Pen dropped and he swore under his breath. "Fuck.."
He stooped down quickly and fumbled around to grab the pen, finally wrapping his fingers around it and standing up. He quickly set it down with the clipboard and returned his focus on the soundboard, sliding some keys and adjusting a few nobs. Grabbing the mic hey smiled out into the crowd as the song came to an end. "Hey, y'all having a good time tonight?"
An energetic cheer was his welcoming response. "Alright, let's see how y'all like this one.." He selected the next track and boosted the volume a bit, setting the mic back down in its spot and making sure it was off so there wasn't going to be an awful screeching in the middle of the music. He glanced over the crowd, seeing if anyone was going to make a move to suggest a song.
