The night air chilled him in a pleasant way, energized him almost. It was a good night for mischief. In his backpack there was a new assortment of spray paints, a flashlight, his ipod, and his sketchbook. He already knew his target spot. It was a brick wall that was begging to be livened up with his artwork. He enjoyed these nights, when it was just him, his music, and his art.He did his best to keep this side of him hidden from others. Not out of embarrassment, but he never was quite one for the attention.
Running through the streets of downtown Salem, there was hardly anyone else out. Most of the folks he passed by were too drunk off their rocker to pay him any mind. The pavement was shiny and slick from the recent rain that day. Luckily Gregory was almost always sure on his feet, able to quickly catch his balance. Usually.
Unfortunately as he hopped to jump over a sleeping vagrant his foot slipped. The next several moments were spent of him stumbling, trying to regain his footing until finally his body slammed into the warmth of another. In an attempt to catch himself from falling, Greg reached out and his hands found the other young man's shoulders.
"Oh!" he cried out, a little embarrassed about the situation. "I'm so sorry, I.. I didn't see you there and I.." He was stumbling over his words, trying to explain this rather rude introduction.
