Angel sensed the brief pause in Leo’s rhythm as he retuned her kiss. Just that small moment with their chest pressed together and him buried deep inside her made her feel more alive than she’d ever been. It’s like all her life she’d been wandering around with her eyes half-open but when she was with Leo everything became so clear. It amazed her but scared the hell out of her at the same time. He’d shown her things no one had before.

Once he continued his thrusts, she clutched him close. Angel deepened the kiss, her tongue slowly trailing his lower lip before exploring his mouth.

Now, if under normal circumstances, when Angel's tongue decided to join his own he would have jumped and.. Well he wasn't exactly sure what he would have done. But in this moment, this tender embrace with Angel, it just furthered how much closer he felt to her.

Shit, how much he loved her. He wanted to scream it; shout it from the rooftops. But at the same time, deep down, he knew that even a slight utter of it and she'd be gone. He would not be able to stand that heartache. He just knew it.

Angel enjoyed the way her tongue mingled with Leon’s. Her movements were gentle and delicate, as if the simplest mistake would drive him away (which from her experience it would). His warm mouth felt comforting against her own, the way it moved in synchronicity with her own. They fit together in a way Angel could not describe, so instead of describing she just let it happen. Her hands wandered to his chest where she rubbed slow, sensuous circles. The wisps of hair on his chest tickled her fingertips and she knew if she were to rest her head there she would breathe in his familiar scent of Old Spice.

The washing machine continued to knock around beneath her, multiplying the intense sensations in her pelvic region. Though they were taking it slow this time, Angel found the pleasure far surpassed what she’d felt when they’d gone at it the first time. Now it meant so much more…and she had so much more to lose.

She pulled away from him lips and rested her forehead against his. ”Leo, I’m close,” Angel moaned softly as she desperately rolled her hips up against him. She kissed his cheek, his jaw, and finally his neck, leaving a fresh bruise beneath the one she’d left earlier.

His chest squeezed, only slightly, though the clenching in his lower abdomen were greatly more intense. A whine escaped the back of his throat and Leon found himself moaning slightly into Angel's mouth. When she pulled away he pressed his forehead against hers for a moment before burying his face in the crook of her neck.

"I.. I think I am too.." He grunted against her skin, clutching the skin above her hips tighter--but still with that gentleness he had been expressing the entire time.

A few more loving thrusts from Leo pushed her over the edge. To be honest, he wasn't sure he would ever grow accustomed to the fatigue that followed. He leaned into Angel, pressing his face into the crook of her neck. Leon smiled faintly at the feeling of her fingers going through his hair and he lifted his gaze to her face.

He wanted to say everything to her, oh how much he wanted to! He wanted to tell her how gorgeous and beautiful she was. How all she had to do was choose to be in his presence and it made him so happy. He wanted to tell her these things, how much he loved her. But instead all he could manage was to gently cup the side of her face, kissing her deeply and sweetly.

Her eyes carefully searched his for a moment before he leaned in and kissed her once more. It still amazed her how sweetly he could kiss, as if his lips were only made for her.

She pulled back slightly for a breath and smiled up at him. ”You’re going to turn me into a regular fucking sappy romantic, I swear,” Angel teased with a laugh. Angel booped his nose gently with her index finger and kissed his cheek before seeing his neck. ”Oh shit…I, uh, kind of made your neck purple.”

When he pulled away, he smiled faintly, searching the features of her face. He blinked when she touched his nose and laughed softly, his voice still rather breathy and husky. "That might not be such a bad thing, you know." He returned and reached up to fix her hair, twirling a strand between her fingertips for a moment.

Leon reached up and touched the spot on his neck where her lips had been. Sure enough, it was a little sore but he offered her a reassuring look. "That is alright.. It's nothing I cant handle." Leaning over her slightly he nuzzled the tip of his nose against hers then pressed his lips to her forehead, cradling the back of her head in his hand.

A part of him yearned, screamed at him, to tell her those words. Tell her the truth that he knew for absolute certain now, without a doubt. To tell her just exactly what she meant to him, how he couldn't imagine his life without her in it. How he wanted to make her feel safe and wanted and happy all the time. He just wanted to tell her.

"Angel, I.." Just say it! Say is: Angel, I love you. But when he opened his mouth all that came out was.. "I don't know about you but I think I need a bath."

Angel rolled her eyes at his comment. Of course it would not be a bad thing in his eyes! For her it would be like losing part of herself. Her whole not-caring front was all she had. If she lost that, then what would she be? She couldn’t give Leon the love and laughs he deserved…it just wasn’t her. As much as she wanted to give him those things she did not know how. Instead of responding, she gazed at him, placing her hand on his as he twirled her hair.

She laughed when he assured her the bruises were fine with him. ”Okay, tough guy,” Angel teased with a small smile, leaning forward to place a kiss on the hickey she’d given him. She traced his cheek with her finger, trying to remember all the little curves and quirks of his face.

Angel tilted her head curiously when he began to speak. For some odd reason her heart caught in her throat as if she knew what he was about to say. She wanted to reach forward and put her hand over his mouth to keep him from saying it. If he said those words it would make all of this real. Thankfully he did not say those dreaded three words and instead suggested a bath. ”Sounds good to me. I’ll start it up,” Angel replied, quickly pecking his cheek before she slid off the washing machine.

After a nice, hot bath together they crawled into bed. Angel fell asleep cradled in his arms with her head against his chest not even thinking about how she would come to regret this later.
