Nora's outfit
Intro for || Kat
It was that time of year again; when the teachers from Metric Academy and the professors from Metric College came together to bring the many generations of students together in order to grow and learn from each other. Having been a freshman last year and being excluded from the assignments that were given out during this time of year had been disheartening--there was much talk, always, around campus about what would be done, or what potential project would be created through this--but now that she was here, in the moment, Nora reveled in it. Standing in the middle of the stage among her other high school associates, she had her arms crossed over her chest and her foot tapping on the stage, impatient as she looked towards the door where the college students would enter.
If only Newt was here, she thought. But of course he wasn't; he had gotten his schedule changed in order to focus more on the behind the scene productions that went on during plays, deciding that he'd rather keep his face hidden than stand out in the spotlight like their family name said that they should. She rolled her eyes and huffed. No doubt that bitch was grabbing is attention, making him sweets and poisoning his mind even further, taking him away from the only family he had left at this school.
No no, don't think like that Nora, not right now, she told herself. Shaking her head, she brushed her waved hair out of her face and straightened her shoulders. She had to be the best, so that she could get the best college student on her side. As she waited, students meandered about, sitting on the stage or standing, talking lowly among themselves. The teacher stood off towards the side of the stage near the red curtains, her eyes averted towards the back of the theater where the double doors were. Every light was on, showing the empty seat that were usually filled when productions were on. It was bland; no decorations to reflect the play. She needed to get a good spot in the next production. She had to.
When the doors started to open, every student rose to attention--those sitting started to stand, and those talking quieted their voices as the shadows of the larger, older college students started making their way down the middle aisle, a professor leading them up. The teacher leading the high schoolers walked towards the edge of the stage. "Welcome students!"
